Heart Shaped Cake
This heart shaped cake with chocolate icing was quite simple. It was a yellow cake mix that was baked in a heart-shaped cake pan. The icing was chocolate and some pastel colored candy bits were sprinkled along the edges to give the cake some extra color.
It was not a big cake, but it was used for a small birthday gathering. The birthday "boy" was over 50 and preferred that no candles be used! There was even some left over and it remained good in the refrigerator for days. It was photographed on a white tablecloth with some colored embroidery.
