Hawaiian Themed Wedding Cake

My Unique Hawaiian Themed Wedding Cake

As you can tell by the picture, my cake was not your typical wedding cake. I chose this style because my husband and I were having a Hawaiian luau themed wedding and I wanted my cake to be fun.

My cake was 4 layers and we kept the top layer for ourselves.

This cake fed about 120 people and we had tons of cake left over. (We also had a groom's cake)

The cake did not cost us a thing because we had a friend make it for us.

When picking out your cake, I suggest putting taste above looks, and your guests will be happy.

One thing I was certain of when designing my cake, was I did not want any fondant icing. Although it looks pretty, it tates nasty.

The groom's cake was half vanilla cake with rasberry filling - was the best! and half spice cake with cream cheese filling

And my cake was part chocolate cake with chocolate filling and part spice cake with cream cheese filling.
