Happy Cars Cake

This birthday cake was made when my son and his cousin were turning one together! They were born just 9 hours apart, and we had a car-themed birthday for the boys. They were made from cake molds, and the wheels were made from tiny cupcakes, cut in half. Candy was used for windshield wipers and the "details" on the car, which the adults ate (or we threw away.)

We had bought plates, napkins, and all the decorations for a special car birthday, and the cake naturally followed!
