Guitar Birthday Cake

I have a friend whose son was getting ready to celebrate his birthday and the grocery store wanted almost $100 for a large cake to feed everyone at his party. So me and a buddy got together and made this cake!

We used about 4 recipes of cake batter and a jumbo size pan. Then we drew out the shape of the guitar on carboard, cut it out,and used it as a stencil.

Next, we made cream cheese frosting and died it with green food coloring. We used marshmallows for the tuners and silver string for the guitar strings. Simple piping filled in the details to give this Camo guitar cake a great appearance! Everyone loved it!
