Skull And Crossbones Cupcake Birthday Cake

Skull And Crossbones Cupcake Birthday Cake

My daughter wanted a cake that was girly pirate inspired for her 5th birthday. However, my friend's mother-in-law owns a small party store and couldn't get the decorations in in time for the party. My child wanted cupcakes and decided on chocolate.

I ordered black, pink, and white foil cupcake liners online. I looked around and found some edible decals online as well. I showed them to my daughter and she really liked them. So, her theme turned more into a ROCK-black-pink and white polka-dot party.

I made cupcakes and arranged them into a large square with white icing. Then I put on the icing, then the decals and decorated it some more with a hot pink border with black polka-dotted spikes. It was a great hit at the party and my daughter was very pleased with it. I edited the picture to keep any information private. Thanks.
