Four Tier Wedding Cake With Blue Flowers
I wanted something a little different, but not too crazy. I liked the octagon shape, since it's not used often in wedding cakes that I could find. I also had seen pictures of cakes with alternating shapes, which I thought looked neat as well.
A family friend made the cake. I told her the shapes and the "dot" pattern I liked, gave her the ribbon, flowers, and figurine and she built it beautifully. It was 4 tiers and alternated white and chocolate cake, with buttercream icing. We had about 100 guests and more than half of it was left over!
We paid $150.00 for the cake to be made, of course there was a little more cost for the decorations, but I don't know the exact amount.
