Flip Flop Cakes

Flip Flop Cakes My little girl was turning 4 and she wanted to have a luau/ pool party. We needed a special cake to match the theme. This cake was baked using two 9x13 pans. I used one cake mix for each pan (one vanilla and one chocolate). I followed the directions on the box for the cake mix. After the cake was cooled, I cut the cake into the shape of a flip flop. I used Fruit by the Foot for the shoe straps and M&Ms to decorate the iced cake. Finally I placed a silk flower at the place where the shoe straps met. Very simple and easy cake!
