Five Tier Wedding Cake

I was married in November of 2008 at the Homestead in Hot Spring, Virginia. I originally saw my wedding cake as a picture from a friend of a friends wedding. Since our wedding was 350 people I knew I needed a large cake and I liked the elegant design.

The style of this wedding cake was based upon a picture that a friend took of another wedding cake. We decided on the flavor (red velvet) because that is our favorite cake flavor and one we wanted to share with our guests.

We bought it from Sweet Treats Bakery, in Lexington, VA. The cake served 350 guests and was five tiers. It cost around $2,200.
