Feliz Compleanos Cake

My daughter told me her cakes were always boring and uncreative...so for her 7th bday we were living in Argentina, and I decided to take a cake decorating class. The class I took taught how to make decorations with cold porcelain. At first I thought it would be extremely difficult, since I don't have a creative bone in my body, but it actually turned out to be really easy and fun!

The decoration was of a little girl sitting on her bed with one slipper on and the other on the floor. It turned out really cute! The cake itself is just a rectangle covered in a "fondant" which is made with sugar, water and glucose.
