Eyeball Cakes For Halloween

This is a picture of eyeball cakes for Halloween. The "cakes" were actually donut holes that were first dipped in white chocolate and then set aside for a while for the chocolate to harden. Next the red lines were put in with a fine icing tip to simulate bloodshot eyes. Finally a chocolate chip was placed, with the poitned side down, in the center of the eyeball.

These little confections were made by a friend named Julie and tasted delicious. This would be a great addition to your Halloween party and it would also be a good project to make with the kids!

Sorry that the picture is blurry. I must have moved the camera when taking it. But I suppose blurriness and bloodshot eyes go well together!
