Elmo Cupcakes

My niece LOVES Elmo :) So for my niece's 2nd birthday, I made Elmo cupcakes! And they are much easier than you would think, but turn out great! I just made regular vanilla cupcakes and frosted them with red frosting out of a can using the star tip and doing stars all over in a messy fashion to look like fur. Then I used a gumdrop for the nose, cut a marshmallow in half and used those for the eyes. Then I used a can of brown frosting to dot the eyes and make the smile (the smile was the most difficult part, so make sure and practice first!). Only took an hour or so to decorate a few dozen and the kids loved them!
