Doughnut Wedding Cake

I spent MONTHS looking online and through pictures at bakeries for the perfect cake for my wedding. After visiting at least a dozen bakeries, my future mother in law suggested a local bakery called Marge's Doughnut Den. I laughed, but decided to make an appointment just to make her happy.

I walked into the amazing smelling little bakery and the chef brought out samples and a photo book. The raspberry cream layered cake was unbelievably good, I was sold! I couldn't believe that a wedding cake could taste so good, it was like eating a doughnut!

I went with the simple white frosting design, then our florist added orchids and heather flower(my name is Heather).

The cake cost almost $400.00 and served 200 people. We had so many complements even after the wedding about our delicious cake, a friend even ordered her cake from the same place after tasting mine.

On our first anniversary in September, we brought out the frozen cake and it was still amazing! I almost forgot how good it was!
