Delicious, Colorful Wedding Cake

We purchased our wedding cake from the Publix Supermarket bakery. There was no doubt in my mind as to where to purchase the cake because Publix has the most delicious cake recipe.

The cost was reasonable at $175 for about 70 servings. The cake was a vanilla and chocolate marble batter with fresh sliced strawberry filling and buttercream icing.

Instead of the "traditional" bride and groom cake topper, we chose to top the cake with chocolate-covered strawberries. We also opted to add some color to the cake with seafoam green and light blue filigree accents. We received many compliments on both the taste and the appearance of our very special wedding cake.
