Daisy Wedding Cake

A friend of ours (who actually introduced my husband and me) made our cake. I knew she loved to bake, so asked her if she wanted to do it. She really get into it, and is now making cakes for weddings, showers, parties, etc.!

Anyway, I wanted my cake to have a daisy theme because I love daisies. Each layer of the cake is a different combination of cake and filling flavors (variations of chocolate, cream and raspberry).

It was a "huge" cake! And very delicious. That was my main concern -- I didn't want to sacrifice taste for looks. And, we froze our topper for our first anniversary, and I think we may be the only couple in history that thawed what turned out to be a tasty topper!
