Cute And Easy Teapot Cake

by Rochelle S.

Teapot Cake

Teapot Cake

My daughter was turning 6 and I had a tea party for her.

I baked a teapot cake using a store-bought yellow cake mix in two 2-quart glass mixing bowls. When they were cooled, I inverted one on top of the other.

I colored some white icing with yellow food coloring and frosted the entire cake.

I then added some M&Ms on the sides to make flowers.

The ball on the top was a Starburst lollipop.

The handle and spout were cut out of blue posterboard and pushed into the sides of the cake.
