Cut Flowers Wedding Cake

My Mother-in-law did catering and made wedding cakes, so she did both for our wedding. We wanted something simple but beautiful, so she suggested a tiered white cake with white frosting and real flowers as decoration. She asked the florist to deliver extra flowers that matched the ones from the wedding to be delivered to the hall and she put them on the cake before we arrived.

Since it was considered a gift to us I don't know what it cost. We had around 200 guests, and there was some left besides the top tier which we kept.

I had several people comment to me that the cake was beautiful, and that they liked the real flowers. I loved it and it will be one of my cherished memories of my wedding day!
