Cupcake Balloons

My baby loves balloons and I knew that was going to be the theme of his first birthday. Just different ideas kept popping in my head of how to lay it out until I finally came upon this idea!

I had originally thought I would use 3 one layer cakes but realized it wouldn't look right. Somehow it all just came together! Very simple.

Make cupcakes and color the icing the colors you want. Cover a board with white paper. Blue would be cute too. Stick some sort of string out the bottom of the cupcakes so it looks like the string.

I printed out a picture of grass and a picture of my little guy. Got a good one too it looks like he was letting them all go! Glued down the pictures and that was it! Quick, easy and perfect.
