CSI Cake

My inspiration came from my son who loves CSI. In the future he wants to become a crime scene investigator. My child is 17 years old. I did not use a special pan; what I used was a plain circle pan.

First, I covered it with butter cream and then put black fondant on it. For the blood I made the icing color red and I did a soft consistency which made it look real.

The outline of the person was white icing and I did it freehand. For the fingerprints I grabbed some powered sugar and put my finger all over the cake. The grass was green icing with a grass pipping and last was the magnifying glass I did out of fondant and I placed plastic wrap.
