Coconut Cake Recipe:

My mom makes this and it is really a great cake!

1 cup softened butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 1/4 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 1/4 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

cream butter and sugar together
add eggs 1 at a time, beating in each one
add flour, baking powder and milk
mix until blended
pour into 3 round 9 inch pans
bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes
cool cakes and spread your choice of filling or frosting between each layer and over the top of cake.
