Coco Monkey Cake

My little boy turned one year old on his birthday. He loved Curious George. She made two of these cakes and the first one was a practice one and it turned out very well. It was not hard to make.

The face was made from a yellow cake mix with white and chocolate icing mixed together to lighten the color of the chocolate icing. Cocoa Pebbles were placed around the face. We used large M&Ms for eyes and nose, and licorice for the mouth. We completed the whole thing with sugar cookies for the ears. Everyone love it and so did he!
