Chocolate Wedding Cake With Flowers

This cake wasn't actually mine personally, but I was the maid of honor for this wedding. Her mom actually makes her own wedding cakes. So she was easily able to have her dream wedding cake. I don't think the cake was that big at all. It easily fed all of her 50 guests. I personally didn't eat any though because it was chocolate.

I watched her mom make it though and let me tell you, it is NOT nearly as hard as it looks. I would consider making my own cake for my daughter's wedding as well. It adds a personal touch to the cake =]

I believe her mom went all out and bought really expensive ingredients. I remember it costing around $75 to make, but I am more than positive that this cake could easily be made for MUCH cheaper than that!
