Chocolate Wedding Cake With Flowered Detailing

I knew that I wanted to have a chocolate wedding cake instead of the traditional white cake. Since the place that I held my reception used a specific baker for the cakes, I had gone to the baker and flipped through all the cakes that were shown, picking out the flavors and colors that went with my wedding. We could have done something different and paid for it, but since this one was included in our wedding package, I thought it would be nice.

I wanted something simple that went with some of the details of my wedding (colors, flowers, etc.) This cake would have served over 100 people, even though I did not have that many people at my reception. The one thing is that the outside layer can crack sometimes, so you need to be careful of that.
