Chocolate Raspberry Cake

I wanted to make a birthday cake for my husband for his 29th birthday. What he really wanted was a chocolate raspberry cake from his hometown bakery. This wasn't possible. So I decided to make my own version. It turned out well. A little lopsided but he loved it. So did everyone else.

It was rich with dark chocolate shavings and raspberry jam between the chocolate layers and dark chocolate icing. I used a regular 8-in round in two layers. Loved the cake.
