Chocolate Frosty Cake Recipe

Chocolate Frosty Cake Recipe:


• 4 ounces of unsweetened baking chocolate
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup brewed coffee
• 2 cup sugar
• 2/3 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cup flour


Preheat oven to 350°. In a large saucepan, combine chocolate, butter, and coffee. Heat until chocolate and butter are melted. Add sugar and continue cooking until over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Combine buttermilk, soda, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir into choc. mixture. Stir in flour, blending it well. Pour into prepared 9 x 13 pan. Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost it with choc. frosting.


1/2 cup butter, softened 3/4 cup cocoa 3 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup brewed coffee
Using an electric mixer, cream butter. Add cocoa and blend well. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Add coffee, a little at a time, until spreading consistency.

The Chocolate Frosty cake is ready to eat. Serves 12.
