Castle Princess Cake

Princess Castle Cake

Princess Castle Cake

My daughter loves castles and we happened to be living in Denmark at the time she turned 2. This is a cake my mom made for her 2 year old birthday party. We lived in Copenhagen at the time, hence the danish flags on top of the towers.

The cake was 2 round cakes and the 3 towers were paper towel holders with fondant rolled around. Then we used fondant and made half circles and rolled them into the cone shapes and allowed to dry. We thought about using icecream cones but they were not very easy to attach to the top of the fondant tower rolls.

My daughter was thrilled since DK is full of castles and she wanted one for a birthday cake.
