Cake For Dog Themed Birthday

Just before our daughter's fifth birthday, we adopted our pet Pierre. She recieved him very enthusiastically and requested a pet dog themed birthday party.

I used a doghouse cake pan found at a nearby craft store, and later found to be available online.

I baked two doghouse cakes using pretty generic yellow cake mix, then applied siding, roof, names and occupants in butter cream icing using a set of ordinary cake decorating nozzles.
