Buddy's 80th Birthday Cake

Buddy grew tomatoes in his garden in St. Bernard Parish, just outside New Orleans. His cake was made to look like a crate filled with tomatoes. The tomatoes were made of icing and sat on top of a cardboard piece that was removed before the cake was cut. It was delicious and the party, which had a house full of people, was a lot of fun!
