Black Forest Cake Disaster

Somene made me a black forest cake for my birthday once... I told them it was the best thing ever. Unfortunately, it wasn't even close. For some reason, they decided to use a large ammount of gelatin when making the cake. it came out as these globs of cake and gelatin, covered in frosting. Despite the fact that the cake was a mess though, it was made by someone I cared for very much and I didn't want to hurt their feelings, so I smiled and said how great it was. Unfortunately this person made a very large cake, and nobody else wanted to eat it. I was eating that thing for a month, and each time I had to smile, and say how wonderful it was. |
