Birthday Froggy Cake

For my daughter's 6th birthday we were having a pool party and I wanted a cake to go with the water theme. I found instructions online decorating a butterfly shaped cake into a frog. I think it turned out great!

I used a boxed cake mix and canned white icing tinted the colors I wanted. I then piped the icing where it should go. The head of the frog is a rolled sugar cookie with piped icing for the face and features. I ended up using a rolled up index card to prop up the top of the head because it hung past the cake body and the cookie was drooping.

Everybody thought it was a great cake.
