Birthday Cake With Chocolate Icing

I got the idea of making my own b-day cake from my in-laws. They make wedding and event cakes out of their home for a living, and I decided to see how mine would come out. I made a simple Betty Crocker yellow cake and topped it with whipped chocolate icing. My fiance did the decorations and the cake came out surprisingly well. I simply followed the directions as written and my cake came out moist and oh so flavorful.
