Birthday Cake With Chocolate Icing And Sprinkles

My son Skyler was turning 7 on January 11th, 2009. I have made him a cake every year for his birthday. I always ask him what type/icing he would like and that year he chose chocolate.

I bought the mix/batter from the store and had everything else I needed at home,the pan, eggs, oil & mixer. I used a round pan and made 2 different cakes and stacked them together, after they were done baking in the oven.

Next I took the chocolate icing and spread it all over the cake using a butter knife. I had also bought multi color sprinkles at the store, and spiral birthday candles. Skyler loved his cake from me, and it was delicious!
