Banana Split Cake Recipe

I have made this banana split cake many times for family and work events and it has turned out great for all.
1 1/2 cups Self-rising Flour
1 1/2 sticks butter (melted)
1 cup chopped pecans
2 Tablespoons Sugar
8 ounces Cream Cheese
1 Box Powdered Sugar
4 Medium Bananas
1 large can pineapple (drained)
12 ounces cool whip
Chopped Pecans and Cherries to garnish
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, butter, chopped pecans, and sugar and place in 2 buttered or greased 8 inch or 9 inch round cake pans. Bake in over at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Blend cream cheese (at room temperature) and powdered sugar for frosting.
Layer Bananas, pineapple, and cool whip in the middle of cakes. Frost with cream cheese and powdered sugar frosting. Garnish with chopped pecans and cherries.
