Artistic Wedding Cake

This cake was done by a friend's very-talented and artistic sister. It is multi-tiered, with each level separated onto a different plate, and a very classy band of ribbon icing on each.

It was a beautiful display! It used one of the colors of the wedding and easily served the 100+ guests.

By having a family member contribute the cake (in lieu of a gift) this was a very economical way to have a beautiful family memory attached to one of the most important events a girl has.
