Aqua Wedding Cake
I found the style of my wedding cake in a Martha Stewart Weddings magazine and had my baker alter the color of the fondant and the gum paste flowers from pink/brown to aqua/white. I wanted something natural (flowers and branches) that would fit the garden setting of my wedding and the bird motif, but that wouldn't be over-the-top.
This particular cake was commissioned from a small bakery in Camarillo, California, served 150 people and cost approximately $1000. I also spent an additional $90 on the cake topper, which I had custom-made by a crafter on Esty.com.
