Apple Cake Recipe


3 cups flour 
2 cups sugar 
3 large eggs, beaten 
1/2 teaspoon salt 
1 cup vegetable oil 
1 teaspoon baking soda 
2 teaspoons vanilla 
3 cups finely chopped apple 
1/2 cup apple juice 
1 cup chopped walnut 
1 cup packed brown sugar 
1/4 cup butter 
1/3 cup whipping cream 


Combine flour, sugar, soda, and salt in large bowl. Set Aside. Place oil, apple juice, eggs, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Then stir in the nuts and apples. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients, until moistened. In a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan spread batter. Bake at 350°F for around 45 minutes. Combine butter, brown sugar, and cream in a small sauce pan. Cook and stir mixture until it becomes bubbly and all of the sugar has dissolved. Cool Slightly. Drizzle the warm mixture over the cake, after giving it 5 minutes to cool. Done this way, the cake will stay moistened.
