Amaretto Cheesecake

This amaretto cheesecake recipe is from my great Grandmother. She was from Southern Italy.

1 1/2 cups Coarse graham cracker crumbs
1/2 stick of butter, melted
1 15oz carton of ricotta cheese
1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
4 Eggs slightly beated
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup Amaretto
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine crumbs and butter, press over bottom and sides of a greased 9" spring form pan. Chill.

Preheat oven to 325. Beat together ricotta, cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, beat until smooth. Pour mixture into pan.

Bake one hour & 15mins or until firm in the middle.

Cool 20-30 minutes in the pan before removing.
Cool completely before serving.
