A Traditional Wedding Cake

I decided on this cake after only shopping for a short while. I knew I wanted to have something traditional, white, tiered, and big enough to serve our large party. We had about 150 people at our reception, and had plenty of cake left over afterward. We even kept the top layer and froze it for the first year, another tradition.

My mother in law ordered it from a local baker, and it was absolutely delicious! I believe she paid around $175 for the cake, including the roses on top.
