cool cake

I've been looking at as many roller coaster cakes as I can to come up with my own for my soon-to-be-6 year old son. How did you make this? Did you use just one round cake? Are they double layered? How are the coasters made? Was this pretty stable, or likely to fall on it's side during travel?

What a Ride!!!
by: Jane

Oh, my! It really is a different kind of over the hill cake! I thought it was going to be for someone who was getting up there in age, but what a pleasant surprise to find a roller coaster cake! You are so imaginative! I just love this! My nephew loves roller coasters too, and maybe I could try to tackle making a cake like this too! Wow! I'm impressed!
