5 Tiered Wedding Cake

Our wedding cake was a beautiful five tiered cake that matched the elegance of our wedding day. I got the idea from a magazine photo and wanted to find a respectable cake company that could recreate it. We decided to with The Cake Shop of San Jose and they did a great job. They were extremely friendly during our consultation and their cakes tasted delicious.

Our cake was vanilla with a raspberry filing. Most cakes are round, but ours was a octagon shape with turquoise ribbon around each tier. We had green hydrangeas (which ended up wilting) between each layer and pink roses on top.

The display cake was not big enough to serve all 250 guests so the Cake Shop made extra that they kept in the kitchen and brought out in slices after we cut the main cake. We had plenty of cake and were able to save the top tier to eat on our 1 year anniversary.
