1st Birthday Cupcake Cake

This cake was for the 1st birthday of the child of friends of mine. She was doing a picnic theme for the party and had plates with cupcakes on them. We decided a big cupcake sitting on a picnic blanket would be cute. The base cake is a 13x9 pan and the large cupcake was made using Wilton's giant cupcake cake pan. I used rolled fondant for the picnic blanket and chocolate jimmies for the ants.
